Main advantages of joining NCC (National Cadet Corps) 

National Cadet Corps is headquartered in New Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on a voluntary basis. The National Cadet Corps is a tri-service organization consisting of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, engaged in making the youth of the country disciplined and patriotic citizens. National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization that recruits Cadets from high schools, colleges, and universities across India. Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. Officers and Cadets once completed are under no obligation for active military service, but are given preference over general candidates during selection based on their achievements in the Corps.

1. With an Army wing certificate, you are entitled to 20-25 reserved vacancies for each course of IMA, irrespective of your position in the merit list. The same goes for AFA and INA.

2. Under NCC Special Training, you will not need to write a CDS exam and will be directly called for SSB for all three forces depending on the wing of NCC i.e. Army, Navy, or Air Force Wing you were trained in.

3. The written test is exempted for Soldier GD and bonus marks for Soldier Technical.

4. 10-15 bonus marks in paramilitary forces recruitment BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, etc.

5. STATE POLICE Recruitment. Bonus marks in 

6. Vacancies reserved for the post of Security Officer in private sector industries like Reliance Industries.

7. Preference in CAPF & CPO Interview.

8. When it is mentioned in your resume, it will indicate your personality.
